We follow the Baltimore County Public School (BCPS) system calendar.  This may or may not affect your child’s class(es).  In the event of inclement weather, or if Baltimore County Public Schools have an unscheduled early close, we will not hold classes that evening.  There will be no make-up classes in these two cases.   To find out if classes are cancelled, check your email, or call 410-215-5458.  You can also check our Facebook or Instagram pages for updates.

Please note that dates are subject to change based upon facility availability and weather. We will do our best to offer make up classes for cancellations due to a facility closure.

Class Placement

Placement is based on your dancer’s age or grade level.  Please be aware students will remain in the  class(es) that they are enrolled in at the beginning of the dance year for the entire year.

We strongly encourage regular attendance to dance class. In the Spring session, we start working on recital dances.  If students miss excessively without proper notice, they will be left out of recital choreography.  Please note that if a dancer is more than 10 minutes late, they will not be able to participate for safety of the dancer.

Parents are asked to wait outside of the classroom during their dancer’s class time. A designated waiting area is available just outside the studio. We do not allow observation on a regular basis to allow our teachers and students focused dance education and instruction. We do offer one visitor week per session where families and friends can come see our dancers in action.  These dates will be announced when the dance sessions begin.

We ask that dancers arrive promptly to class, dressed and ready to move. Arriving a few minutes early to get shoes on and use the restroom will ensure your dancers will receive the most out of their classes.  Dance classroom etiquette will be taught and enforced with our students.

Dancers must be picked up on time at the end of their class(es). Instructors are preparing to begin their next class, or closing the classroom for the evening.

Cell phone use by students during class is prohibited unless there is an emergency.

To ensure that we properly answer your questions, please email us at  We would love to address your questions in person, but that is not always possible with minimal time between classes.
