Recreation Activity Room

Arkadiy Frenkel has over 35 years of international chess experience. In the United States he holds the title as National Chess Master. He has over 13 years of domestic chess education and is working on bringing chess back into the classroom.

The first half of the program kids are exposed to the foundational theory of chess.  The latter half, the students apply their newly acquired knowledge in playing with other classmates. Students are engaged in critical thinking, tactical ideas and improving strategies.

Michael Rosman is a graduate of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College.  He has been a professional entertainer for 20 years.  Michael has taught thousands of people to juggle through his workshops and Circus Camps.

Program meets Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Chatsworth Elementary.  No experience is necessary!  Drop in at any time for this free program!

Every Friday!
(Except September 3rd,  September 10th, September 24th,  October 29th, November 5th)
 
Play board games and card games of all kinds!   No experience necessary.  All ages from 10 and up.  Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Play in a family oriented environment which promotes fun, learning, good sportsmanship and social interactions. All games are taught and provided. Drop in at any time!
